A family business established by Peter Selby over three decades ago with a humble beginning as a canvas manufacturer, the business has been passionately nurtured more recently by Tracy Jardim who began working for Peter Selby in the 90s. With Peter’s retirement Tracy continued on with the Selbys name establishing her own business, Selbys Canvas and Shade. Tracy’s reputation for perfectionism, outstanding customer service and high-quality finishes has entrenched the business in the shade sail fabrication industry.
After 37 years in the textile manufacturing industry Tracy retired and now Selbys Canvas and Shade is under the astute management of Dan Snellgrove. Dan himself has over 36 years in the vehicle upholstery and textile manufacturing industry including servicing the shade sail industry.
With a wealth of knowledge and a respected sewing machinist, Dan’s hands on approach and knowledge of design and manufacturing enables him to deliver exceptional custom-made products for each and every customer from canvas, PVC or shade cloth materials.
